“We invite the NRA to collaborate with us to find workable, effective strategies to diminish the death toll from suicide, homicide, domestic violence and unintentional shootings for the thousands of Americans who will one day find themselves on the wrong side of a barrel of a gun.”

USA Today published an open letter to the NRA, authored by AFFIRM physicians and colleagues on behalf of the US healthcare community.  We are grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate physicians’ commitment to ending the epidemic of gun violence in America. This demonstrates our desire to include all stakeholders in the conversation.
