Rebecca Bell, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a Pediatric Critical Care physician at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. She currently serves as the president of the Vermont Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Bell’s scholarly interests are in child health advocacy and injury prevention. She is the director of injury prevention at the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program. She serves on the Vermont Child Fatality Review Team, the Vermont Firearms Technical Assistance Project, and previously served on the Governor’s Task Force on Community Violence Prevention. Her research focuses on medical provider training on screening and counseling for firearm safe storage.
