Tracy Hauver, MPH

Tracy holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree w/honors in Radiation Therapy from City University, London, England, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Liverpool University, Liverpool, England.  She has taught undergraduate radiation therapy students at both Suffolk University, Ipswich, England, as well as Howard University, Washington, D.C.  Tracy’s research interests include the prevention of firearm-related injury and death, children and guns, and the American gun culture.  She recently advocated, as a member of the Society of Public Health Educators (SOPHE), in the U.S. Senate for the repeal of the Dickey Amendment.  Tracy is a military spouse and brings a unique international perspective to public health and firearms having traveled extensively and lived in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
