We are the only non-profit organization wholly dedicated to approaching firearm injury by focusing on community health and education through evidence-based research. We’re gun owners and non-gun owners committed to reducing the rate of firearm injuries and death by 50% in five years.

FROM OUR FOUNDERS

“We've taken an oath to heal, but we all have a duty to protect. The problem of firearm injury is more than bullet holes. We, as physicians, know how deep the problem runs - but more importantly, we know it doesn’t have to be this way. There are health-based solutions that can make an immediate impact.”

We all have a role to play in the solution.

We create and apply informed curricula for everyone, everywhere, to understand the connection between health and firearms. The causes of firearm injury are complex and require a diverse collaborative group of representatives from medicine, the community, and the firearm industry to create consensus and solutions.
